Specs listed are for Rev. 1.0 — the PRO ICE shares this PCB/manual, while the PRO X3D is a different board (DDR5-9000 validated, only 2 CPU-attached M.2 slots). Desktop full-size DIMMs, non-ECC unbuffered only (no RDIMM/ECC). Install the first module in DDR5_A2, then A2+B2; matched kits recommended. 4-DIMM configs clock down (2DPC penalty). 64 GB (32 Gbit) modules may need a BIOS update; 8000 MT/s+ kits require a Ryzen 9000 CPU. EXPO and XMP both accepted.

4× M.2 NVMe (PCIe 5.0/4.0), 2280–25110 4 × SSD M.2 2280 / M.2 22110 / M.2 2280 / M.2 22110 (NVMe)
NVMe/PCIe only — M.2 SATA SSDs are NOT supported. Supported lengths: 2280 and 22110 everywhere, plus 2580/25110 in M2A_CPU. Three slots are CPU-attached (Gen5) and one is chipset (Gen4); populating M2B/M2C drops the GPU slot to x8. With Ryzen 8000 Phoenix CPUs, M2B/M2C are disabled and all M.2 run at Gen4. Double-sided/heatsinked drives fit.

Socketed AM5 (LGA) — CPU is replaceable. No documented TDP cap; 170 W parts (e.g. Ryzen 9 9950X) are supported. Ryzen 8000 (Phoenix 1/2) CPUs reduce features: M2B/M2C unavailable and GPU slot drops to x8/x4. A BIOS update may be required for newer CPUs; check GIGABYTE's QVL.
