Es ist nichts verlötet — CPU und RAM kannst du selbst austauschen. Wichtig: 'ROG STRIX Z790-A GAMING WIFI' und die 'D4'-Version sind zwei verschiedene Boards (DDR5 vs DDR4); kauf passenden Speicher dazu. Das Board hat keine Laufwerksschächte oder Kartenleser; die Anzahl der 2.5"/3.5"-Schächte und die maximale Dicke bestimmt dein Gehäuse.

Nur DDR5 — DDR4-DIMMs passen physisch nicht (das 'D4'-Board ist eine separate SKU). 4×48 GB = 192 GB brauchen ein aktuelles BIOS/AGESA; die Launch-Unterlagen gaben 128 GB als Maximum an. Die mit 7800+ MT/s angegebene Geschwindigkeit setzt 1 DIMM pro Kanal mit XMP voraus — mit 4 DIMMs ist deutlich weniger zu erwarten. Nur Non-ECC unbuffered; DDR5 On-Die ECC ist kein System-ECC.

4 M.2-Slots (alle PCIe 4.0 x4) plus 4 SATA-6-Gb/s-Ports; Intel RST RAID 0/1/5/10. 22110-Laufwerke passen nur in M.2_1 und M.2_3. M.2_4 nimmt auch SATA-M.2-Laufwerke und beansprucht dann die Bandbreite des SATA-Ports. Kein PCIe 5.0 M.2 — Gen5-SSDs erreichen nur Gen4-Tempo, außer du nutzt sie im GPU-Slot. Kein 2230 ohne Adapter. Keine dokumentierte Kapazitätsgrenze; Laufwerkskäfige übernimmt dein Gehäuse.
