MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX upgrades

Desktop ATX board: all memory is socketed (4 DIMM slots), CPU is a replaceable AM4 PGA chip, so both RAM and CPU slots apply. Older Quick Start PDF lists 64 GB / 3466 MT/s - the current spec page (128 GB, 4133 MT/s) supersedes it. The 'MAX' SKU differs from the plain B450 TOMAHAWK; don't mix BIOS files.

128 GB needs ComboPI 1.0.0.3+ BIOS (older BIOS caps at 64 GB). 4133 MT/s only with Ryzen 3000 R5/R7/R9; other CPUs max 3466 MT/s. Install matched pairs for dual-channel. ECC UDIMMs fit but run non-ECC; RDIMM/LRDIMM won't work.
