Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 V1 (Type 7X05/7X06, 2018). DDR4-2666/2933, PCIe 3.0. Not compatible with SR650 V2 (7Z72/7Z73) parts: different socket (LGA 4189), 32 DIMMs, DDR4-3200, PCIe 4.0. Verify type number before buying CPUs/risers/DIMMs.

Server DDR4 RDIMM/LRDIMM/3DS RDIMM only (no UDIMM/SO-DIMM); types must not be mixed. 12 slots active with one CPU. Speed is DDR4-2666 (1st Gen Xeon) or 2933 (2nd Gen); actual speed drops with 2 DIMMs per channel. 128 GB max per slot is 3DS RDIMM; Optane DCPMM 512 GB modules give up to 7.5 TB total. Memory filler (dummy) DIMMs are mandatory with >125 W CPUs. Max capacity >1 TB/socket needs M- or L-suffix Xeons. Lenovo validates TruDDR4 modules.
