One bank of DDR4-3200 memory (8GB or 16GB) is soldered to the board, with one user-accessible SO-DIMM slot. Storage is a single M.2 NVMe slot. Memory card reader and WWAN slot details were not covered in the sources.

Soldered memory is 8GB or 16GB depending on configuration, so max total is 40GB (8GB soldered) or 48GB (16GB soldered). Dual-channel needs a SO-DIMM fitted. Some SKUs ship with no SO-DIMM installed, so check the specific model. Lenovo's 32GB limit is based on tested modules and larger may work unvalidated. Non-ECC unbuffered only; the memory may retrain at POST after a change, leaving the screen blank for a few minutes.

Lenovo specifies an M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe slot; 2242 is listed only by Kingston's compatibility page and is not confirmed by Lenovo. Only single-sided SSDs appear validated, so some double-sided 2TB drives may not fit. The 2TB limit is Lenovo's tested figure; larger drives may work. Base-config factory SSDs may be PCIe 3.0.
