Lenovo ThinkCentre M720s SFF (machine types 10ST/10SU/10SV/10TR/10U6/10U7). 8.4 L low-profile chassis: only half-height/short PCIe cards fit (x16 slot <147 mm long, <68.9 mm tall) and there is no auxiliary GPU power connector. RAM speed depends on CPU (2400 vs 2666 MT/s). Machine-type variants differ in factory options (optical drive, card reader, Wi-Fi), so verify the exact MTM before buying parts.

4x 288-pin UDIMM, non-ECC unbuffered only (RDIMM/ECC will not work). Lenovo validates 64 GB (4x16 GB); 4x32 GB = 128 GB may work per the CPU memory controller but is untested by Lenovo. Speed is CPU-dependent: Celeron/Pentium/i3 CPUs cap memory at 2400 MT/s. Match module sizes in pairs for dual-channel.

Socketed CPU on Intel B360; supports Celeron/Pentium Gold and 8th Gen (Coffee Lake) / 9th Gen (Coffee Lake Refresh) Core i3-i9, up to i9-9900. Only 65 W desktop parts are validated - no 95 W K-series or T-series listed. No 10th Gen+ support. F-series chips (9400F/9500F) lack iGPU, so a discrete GPU is then required. A BIOS update may be needed for some 9th Gen CPUs.
