Lenovo ThinkCentre M710q Tiny (MT 10MQ/10MR/10MS/10MT/10QR). CPU is socketed and replaceable (35 W T-series only). No PCIe expansion slots, no 3.5" bay, no card reader, no internal optical drive (USB external slim ODD box only). Optional rear I/O daughter cards and the external I/O box each occupy specific USB 3.1 ports. Storage/RAM/ports vary per MTM — check the exact MTM on PSREF. Official max storage capacity is undocumented; 2.5" bay height is not explicitly stated. Machines reached end of support around May 2022.

Both slots are socketed and reachable via the toolless service door; no soldered memory. Unbuffered non-ECC DDR4 SO-DIMMs only (RDIMM/ECC not supported). DDR4-2400 is the ceiling; systems auto-downclock to 2133 with 6th-gen CPUs. 32 GB modules exceed Lenovo's documented 16 GB-per-slot limit. Many units ship 1×4 GB, leaving one slot free.

M-key 2280 slot, PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe per PSREF; M.2 SATA (B+M key) support is NOT documented by Lenovo, so buy NVMe. Intel Optane M.2 modules work only on 7th-gen Core CPU configs. No documented maximum drive capacity (retail ships topped out at 512 GB NVMe). The separate M.2 2230 E-key slot is Wi-Fi/Bluetooth only, not storage.

One SATA 6.0 Gb/s connector on the system board; a drive caddy/bracket and the SATA cable are typically required parts on the Tiny. Lenovo docs do not state max height (the 9.0 mm figure is for the external USB optical box); FRU kits are low-profile ~7 mm — verify before buying 9.5 mm/15 mm drives. Can be used at the same time as the M.2 SSD. No documented capacity limit.
