Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16ACH6 upgrades
Released 2021 · on sale · supported until March 21, 2027
CPU is soldered (FP6/BGA) — Ryzen 5 5600H or Ryzen 7 5800H (Ryzen 5000H Cezanne only), 45W class; not upgradeable, so no CPU slot. 16ACH6 and 16ACH6H share Type 82JQ; do not confuse with the Intel-based 16ITH6H — confirm your MTM on PSREF before buying parts.

- 2x DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM, max 32GB: 2 × DDR4 SO-DIMM · up to 32 GB total · 3200 MT/s
- 2x M.2 NVMe (2242/2280), PCIe 3.0 x4: 2 × SSD M.2 2242 / M.2 2280 (NVMe)
2x DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM, max 32GB 2 × DDR4 SO-DIMM · up to 32 GB total · 3200 MT/s
Non-ECC, unbuffered, 260-pin SO-DIMM only; install in matched pairs for dual channel. Faster kits clock down to 3200. 2x32GB (64GB) has been reported working but is unvalidated — Lenovo/Kingston validate up to 32GB only.

2x M.2 NVMe (2242/2280), PCIe 3.0 x4 2 × SSD M.2 2242 / M.2 2280 (NVMe)
No SATA or 2.5" bay. Both mounts accept 2280 drives (2242 needs the shorter standoff). PCIe 4.0 drives work but run at 3.0 x4 speeds. Validated max is 512GB + 1TB (1.5TB total), but this is a soft limit — 2TB/4TB drives are widely used. Keep SSD height low: the lid is tight.
