HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 upgrades
Memory is all in DIMM slots with nothing soldered. Storage bay count depends on the chassis variant, and the maximum capacities need optional cages, a mid-tray or the NVMe Express Bay.

HPE DDR4 Smart Memory, RDIMM or LRDIMM only, and the two types cannot be mixed. 128 GB modules are LRDIMM; RDIMM tops out at 64 GB (about 1.54 TB total). 12 slots belong to each CPU, so a second CPU is probably needed for all 24. The 3.0 TB total needs CPUs that allow it (M/L models). 2933 MT/s needs 2nd-gen Xeon Scalable CPUs. Optane PMem and NVDIMMs have their own CPU and mixing restrictions.

Two M.2 SATA drives on the optional primary riser. The sources do not state the M.2 length, so 2280 is an unverified assumption; check HPE's supported drive list. RAID 1 needs the HPE FIO Enable Smart Array SW RAID option (784308-B21).
