2x DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM, up to 32 GB total 2 × DDR4 SO-DIMM · up to 32 GB total · 3200 MT/s
260-pin DDR4-3200 (PC4-25600) non-ECC unbuffered SO-DIMMs, dual-channel. Buy matched pairs; mixed speeds run at the slower module's speed. HP validates 16 GB per slot / 32 GB total; 2x32 GB kits may post (Alder Lake controller) but are unverified by HP - check return policy. HP's wording restricts servicing to IT/self-maintainers; generic JEDEC CL22 modules work fine in practice, though HP recommends HP-branded memory. Recovery software reserves up to 35 GB of the system drive.

M.2 NVMe: 2280 primary + short WWAN/SSD slot 2 × SSD M.2 2230 / M.2 2242 / M.2 2280 (NVMe) · up to 1 TB
Primary M.2 2280 M-key, PCIe NVMe Gen 4 x4 (Gen 3 drives work, just slower; Gen 4 drives can run warm). Second short M.2 2230/2242 slot shares the WWAN position - it exists only on units without WWAN, where it takes a 128/256 GB 'Value' SSD. No 2.5" bay, no SATA, no optical drive. HP validates 1 TB as max capacity; third parties sell up to 4 TB for this model - unvalidated. No card reader on all SKUs; verify your part number.
