Desktop 288-pin UDIMM only (not SO-DIMM), non-ECC/unbuffered; x4-SDRAM modules unsupported. DDR4-3200 sticks fit, but real speed is CPU-limited: 2933 MT/s (i7/i9) or 2666 MT/s (i3/Pentium, some i5). HP's density text conflicts with the 128 GB max - verify with HP before buying 32 GB DIMMs. 64-bit OS needed for >4 GB.

1x M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe slot (HP ships 128 GB-2 TB; PCIe 3.0, Optane H10 OK) + 1x 2.5" and 2x 3.5" SATA bays, 2 TB max each as configured. The 2230/2242 M.2 slot is WLAN-only; a 2242 drive needs a riser/adapter. Slim 9.5 mm ODD/5.25" bay also free. DriveLock won't work with SED/OPAL or Optane drives. No 2.5" thickness limit documented.

10th Gen Comet Lake only (Pentium Gold G6500, i3-10100/10300, i5-10500/10600/10600K, i7-10700/10700K, i9-10900/10900K). 11th Gen Rocket Lake is NOT supported despite sharing LGA 1200. 125 W K-series require the 350 W PSU; 260 W PSU limits you to 65 W chips. Check HP's BIOS CPU support list before buying.
