HP EliteDesk 800 G6 Desktop Mini (DM). CPU is socketed, RAM is not soldered. No PCIe expansion slots, no SD card reader and no internal optical drive on the DM (external dock DVD writer is an accessory). Source disagreement: HP's Hardware Reference Guide shows 'Maximum memory 32', conflicting with the 64 GB (2x32 GB) in current QuickSpecs — treat 64 GB as supported. Regional variants differ in CPU and storage option lists.

Both slots user-accessible, no soldered RAM. Max 2933 MT/s with i7/i9, 2666 MT/s with i3/i5 — DDR4-3200 SO-DIMMs work but downclock. Non-ECC unbuffered only (no RDIMM/LRDIMM). Install matched pairs for dual channel. HP lists 2x32 GB = 64 GB max.

Both M.2 slots are Key M, PCIe Gen 3.0 x4 (Gen 4 drives run at Gen 3 speeds), accepting 2230 or 2280. Two M.2 SSDs cannot be used together with the 2.5" SATA bay; 2.5" drives are 7 mm thick and need HP's DM SATA Drive Bracket, not included with M.2-only configs. HP validates max 2 TB per drive; larger third-party drives may work.
