Dual channel, unbuffered DIMMs only (no RDIMM). 8000 MT/s is an EXPO/XMP overclock figure; with 4 modules populated the board may drop to lower speeds. ECC UDIMMs are accepted but run in non-ECC mode.

M2A_CPU is CPU-attached PCIe 5.0 x4 and runs only at Gen4 with Ryzen 8000-series APUs; M2B_SB is chipset PCIe 4.0 x4. Both accept 2280 and 22110 modules. 4 SATA 6Gb/s ports; check the manual for any bandwidth sharing between M.2 and SATA. No 2.5" bay height limit documented.
