Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE V2 upgrades
ATX motherboard with four DDR4 DIMM slots and two M.2 slots. The AX variant adds Wi-Fi, and the sources show the same memory and storage layout for it. Rev. 1.0 to 1.5 appear identical in memory and storage.

Unbuffered DIMMs only, no registered modules. 3200 MT/s is the official speed, and the spec page lists O.C. up to 4733. Use 2 or 4 matched modules for dual channel. Unbuffered ECC works, but ECC mode depends on the CPU. Check Gigabyte's Memory Support List when filling all four slots.

M.2 M-key slot (M2A_CPU, M2B_SB) 2 × SSD M.2 2242 / M.2 2260 / M.2 2280 / M.2 22110 (NVMe / SATA)
Only M2A_CPU (CPU-connected) can run PCIe 4.0, and only with Ryzen 5000/3000. With G-series APUs it drops to PCIe 3.0. M2B_SB (chipset) is PCIe 3.0 x4/x2. Sources don't say if M.2 slots share bandwidth with SATA ports.
