Dell Precision 7560 upgrades
Released 2021 · on sale
No CPU slot — the 11th Gen Tiger Lake-H (Core i5/i7/i9, Xeon W-11855M/11955M, 45 W) processors are soldered (BGA) and cannot be upgraded; only 11th Gen is supported by the WM590 chipset. Buy the CPU you need at purchase. WWAN/WLAN M.2 2230 slots exist but usually need factory antenna kits. RAM upgrades beyond 2 sticks require keyboard-side disassembly; mixed sizes (e.g. 96 GB = 2x16 + 2x32) are officially supported.

4x SO-DIMM DDR4 (2 under keyboard) 4 × DDR4 SO-DIMM · up to 128 GB total · 3466 MT/s
4 user-accessible SO-DIMM slots, but 2 sit under the keyboard/palm-rest (deeper disassembly to fill all 4). 32 GB per slot max; 128 GB = 4x32. ECC unbuffered only (in practice paired with Xeon SKUs); 3466 MHz SuperSpeed modules are Dell-branded non-ECC XMP — third-party RAM should be JEDEC 3200 MHz.

3x M.2 NVMe (2280 / 2230+2280) 3 × SSD M.2 2230 / M.2 2280 (NVMe) · up to 4.096 TB
3 M.2 NVMe slots (PCIe Gen3/Gen4 x4) — one dedicated 2280 plus two that fit 2230 or 2280. Dell documents 4 TB per drive; ~12 TB with three 4 TB Gen4 2280 drives. No SATA M.2 and no 2.5" bay. Intel VMD/RAID supported. 2230 slots only listed with Gen3/256 GB drives — check per-slot caveats when mixing lengths.
