Dell PowerEdge 1750 upgrades
Memory is four full-size DIMM sockets holding up to 8 GB of registered ECC DDR-266, installed in pairs. Storage is limited to up to three SCSI hard drives; no M.2, SATA or NVMe is documented.
- DIMM socket (registered ECC DDR-266): 4 × DIMM · up to 8 GB total · 266 MT/s · registered (RDIMM) · ECC
- 1-inch SCSI hard drive bay: 3 × HDD 3.5" (Proprietary)
DIMM socket (registered ECC DDR-266) 4 × DIMM · up to 8 GB total · 266 MT/s · registered (RDIMM) · ECC
Needs PC2100 registered ECC DDR1 (DDR-266) DIMMs, not DDR2/DDR3. Install in matched pairs, filling bank 1 first. Sizes are 128 MB to 2 GB, with 256 MB minimum. If the OS sees only 256 MB, turn off BIOS OS Install Mode.

1-inch SCSI hard drive bay 3 × HDD 3.5" (Proprietary)
Ultra320 SCSI only, via the SCSI backplane. The sources say 1-inch drives; 3.5" form factor is inferred. SATA, SAS and SSD are not documented as compatible. The datasheet gives 438 GB maximum internal capacity, with no per-drive limit stated.
