Dell OptiPlex 7070 Micro upgrades

Micro variant of the OptiPlex 7070: 2 socketed SO-DIMMs under the cover (the Dell service manual's 'embedded DDR4' note is a known documentation error). One M.2 storage slot and one 2.5" 7 mm bay only; no discrete GPU support on Micro (Tower/SFF only), no SD reader, no internal optical drive. CPU is socketed LGA 1151v2, upgradeable within 8th/9th Gen Intel, 65 W max TDP listed.

Both slots are user-accessible SO-DIMMs (no soldered RAM). 16 GB per slot max, so 2×32 GB is NOT supported (32 GB total ceiling). 2666 MHz modules work but drop to 2400 MHz with i3 CPUs. One M.2 2280 slot (PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe or M.2 SATA, Dell max 2 TB) plus one internal 2.5" SATA bay (6 Gbps, 7 mm drives only, max 2 TB). Both can run together (e.g. NVMe boot + SATA drive); no second SATA drive. 2230/2242 fit only with an adapter/alternate mount. Optional 16 GB Optane module pairs with the 2.5" drive.
