Dell OptiPlex 3070 Micro upgrades

Two SODIMM slots, one 2.5" bay and one M.2 SSD slot. There are no PCIe expansion slots and no 3.5" bay. Dell lists only 35 W T-series 8th/9th gen Intel CPUs. The retrieved sources do not state the socket or confirm the CPU is replaceable, so no CPU slot is listed. Check that before planning a CPU swap.

Non-ECC unbuffered DDR4 SODIMMs only; desktop DIMMs do not fit. DDR4-2666 runs only with i5/i7 CPUs; Celeron, Pentium and i3 run memory at 2400 MT/s. One service manual line says memory is embedded, which contradicts the spec tables.

Dell lists 2.5" drives up to 2 TB, but this is not stated as a hard maximum. Thickness limit not found. A 2.5" SSD can only be a secondary drive, paired with an M.2 SSD as the primary.
