Dell Latitude 7490 upgrades
Released 2018 · on sale
The CPU is most likely a soldered BGA part (15 W Intel Core U-series), so there is no CPU slot; this is inferred, as the sources state no socket. One Dell Owner's Manual page claims the memory is embedded, but the specifications and module-replacement chapters show two user-replaceable SO-DIMM slots.

- SO-DIMM memory: 2 × DDR4 SO-DIMM · up to 32 GB total · 2400 MT/s
- M.2 SSD slot: SSD M.2 2230 / M.2 2280 (SATA / NVMe) · up to 1.024 TB
SO-DIMM memory 2 × DDR4 SO-DIMM · up to 32 GB total · 2400 MT/s
DDR4-2400 modules run at 2133 MT/s with 7th-gen Intel CPUs and 2400 MT/s with 8th-gen CPUs. Minimum configuration is 4 GB. Use a 64-bit OS for over 4 GB. Don't rely on 7290/7390 specs, which have only one slot. Non-ECC is inferred, not stated by Dell.
